RAHCAR Power Corp. Is a growing company in the Utility Construction and Maintenance Industry. We are looking for one highly-motivated individual to join our team as a **Heavy Equipment Operator**, based out of Calgary Alberta.

**Responsibilities for this position include**:

- Operating heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
- Heavy Equipment operation will include but is not limited to derrick digger, backhoe, track-hoe, skid steer.
- Performing daily safety and maintenance checks.
- Complete routine fueling and maintenance.
- Practicing workplace safety.
- Ensuring heavy equipment is safely and securely stored.
- Advising the Supervisor of any requirements for maintenance or repair.
- Assisting qualified utility workers as required.

**Requirements / Preferred Qualifications**:

- Must be living in Grande Prairie area or willing to relocate prior to starting position.
- **Minimum 3-5 years** of experience operating heavy equipment (trenching/excavation). A large portion of this role will be trenching.
- Effective verbal and listening communication skills.
- Ability to understand and effectively execute verbal and written directions.
- Adheres to company Health, Safety, & Environmental reporting and standard assessments.
- Must possess a valid class 5 driver’s license (class 1 or 3 is an asset).
- Knowledge in basic repairs considered an asset.
- Safety conscious.
- Detail orientated.
- Good organization and communication skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $30.00-$38.00 per hour
