Calgary, Canada Professional Excavators & Construction Inc. Full time

**Position Overview**:
Reporting to the Foreman the Heavy equipment Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the equipment.

**What You’ll Do**:

- Operator excavator, dozer and/or skid steer
- Tasks include but not limited to Excavation/Demolition, Backfill/Grading, Retaining Wall Construction
- Labor tasks when required
- Perform rough and fine grading in preparation for roadways, foundations, and utilities
- Complete daily reports, documents and paperwork as required by the company

**Skills Needed**:

- 3+ years of experience operating heavy equipment
- Ability and willingness to operate various types of heavy equipment
- Experience digging basements, warehouse or multifamily homes
- 5+ years related experience in the civil construction industry
- Proficient in all aspects of earthwork; mass excavation, detailed excavation, sub-grade prep, material management and gravelling.
- Ability to operate graders is an asset

**Working Conditions**:

- Field environment
- Regularly sit, stand, walk and talk and listen
- Occasionally lift and move up objects up to 50 pounds.
- Valid Driver’s License (Class 5)
