As a growing manufacturer with a strong reputation for craftsmanship and innovation, we’re seeking a detail-oriented **Controller** to join our leadership team and support the next phase of our growth.
**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead all accounting functions, including general ledger, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Maintain, develop, and implement financial policies, controls, systems, and procedures.
- Coordinate the financial planning and budget process and analyze and correct estimates.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and tax reporting requirements.
- Provide financial insights to support strategic planning and capital investments.
- Support and mentor accounting staff.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification preferred.
- Proven experience in a Controller or similar role within an accounting environment.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage) is essential.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail for account analysis and reconciliation tasks.
- Experience in budgeting processes and financial forecasting.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Exceptional communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
