**Shoreside GM** has an immediate opening for an experienced **Service Advisor**to join our successful dealership. **Summary**:
A **Service Advisor** connects customers with the service department in a dealership or repair shop. They assess vehicle concerns, suggest repairs, and coordinate with technicians. The role requires strong communication, automotive expertise, and excellent customer service.

**Major Responsibilities**:
- Answering incoming phone calls and inquiries related to vehicle servicing.- Consulting with automotive technicians regarding required repairs and or maintenance work and providing repair options to our clients.- Determining and recommending maintenance based on age, mileage and history of a vehicle.- Scheduling service and repair appointments.- Acting as liaison between customers and technicians and managing the status of work orders.- Operating computerized work order systems.- Monitoring the progress of each vehicle throughout the day and updating customers.- Communicating with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner.- Explaining all completed work and charges to customers.- Other duties as assigned by manager

**Qualifications & Skills**- Excellent communications skills- Ability to develop relationships to ensure customer loyalty- Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment- A team player attitude, with integrity, positive energy, work ethic, and urgency- High attention to detail and comfort in using technology for most day-to-day functions- A desire for a long-term career with a growing organization- Valid Driver's License(MANDITORY)- Previous automotive service is considered an asset
