**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**
- Oversee the daily operations of the daycare centre, including scheduling, staffing, and budgeting.
- Hire, train, and supervise daycare staff to ensure they provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, including health and safety, licensing, and fire code regulations.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with parents, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
- Manage the daycare's budget and resources, ensuring that financial targets are met and expenses are controlled.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation, including attendance, incident reports, and staff training records.
- Conduct regular assessments of the centre's programs, activities, and facilities to ensure they meet the needs of children and parents.
- Collaborate with community organizations and local businesses to develop partnerships that benefit the centre and its families.

**Qualifications**:

- A diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- A minimum of two years of experience as a daycare supervisor or manager
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- A thorough understanding of the Ontario Child Care and Early Years Act, 2014, and related regulations and standards
- Knowledge of best practices in early childhood education, child development, and behavior management
- Strong organizational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and community partners
- First Aid and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain certification
