Moody Park Arena offers innovative, creative, fun recreational lessons for patrons 2.5 years to adults. **Successful applicants will possess the following**: - 16 plus years of age. - Experience working with children in a recreation setting. - Strong ice skating background. - Current Emergency First Aid and CPR C Certificate. - Ability to work effectively within a team setting. - Ability to prepare and execute daily lesson plans. - Ability to give written evaluations of students. - Ability to successfully pass and maintain a clear Police Information Check including Vulnerable Sector Check. - Previous related experience or course work within the field or recreation or teaching will be given priority. - To support a workforce that reflects the diversity of our community; women, Indigenous Peoples, racialized individuals, persons of diverse sexual orientation, gender identity or expression (LGBTQ2S+), persons with disabilities, and others who may contribute to diversity of our workforce, are encouraged to express their interest._ - New Westminster is on the unceded and unsurrendered land of the Halq'eméylem-speaking peoples.
