**Job Summary**
We are looking for a reliable and motivated CASUAL Environmental Services Workers to join our team in a long-term care environment. This role supports multiple departments, including Housekeeping, Laundry, and Heavy Duty cleaning. Training will be provided for all areas.

**Responsibilities**

**Housekeeping**
- Perform general cleaning of resident rooms, washrooms, offices, and common areas.
- Dusting, mopping, and disinfecting high-touch surfaces.
- Proper handling and disposal of garbage and recycling.
- Restocking supplies as required.

**Laundry**
- Sorting, washing, drying, and folding resident and facility laundry..
- Operating pre-programmed commercial washers and dryers.
- Organizing and labelling clothes.
- Ensuring proper handling of soiled items following safety guidelines.

**Heavy Duty**
- Operating auto-scrubber machines to clean floors.
- Proper management of laundry carts and garbage.
- Safe handling of cleaning equipment and chemicals.
- Dusting, mopping, and disinfecting high-touch surfaces.
- Proper handling and disposal of garbage and recycling.
- Restocking supplies as required.

**Skills**
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness in cleaning tasks.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Good physical stamina to perform repetitive cleaning tasks and lift light to moderate loads.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning chemicals and safety procedures is a plus.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete assigned duties within scheduled shifts.

**Requirements**:

- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional early mornings, weekends, and short-notice shifts
- Willingness to be trained in all three departments (Housekeeping, Laundry, Heavy Duty)

**Must have or be able to complete required documentation**:

- Measles immunity.
- Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC).
- TB Test.
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
- Reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently.

This role is essential in supporting our commitment to providing a safe and sanitary environment. We value reliability, professionalism, and a proactive approach in all team members.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $19.00-$19.80 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 37.5 per week
