**Job Overview**:
We at Caring Fairy At Home is dedicated to providing high quality, compassionate and trustworthy home health care and support services to seniors. We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to provide care and assistance to individuals in need. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and comfort of our clients. This position requires patience, empathy, and the ability to handle various tasks related to patient care and support.

**Duties**:

- Provide personal care and assistance to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Assist with meal preparation, planning and feeding
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with clients
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care for clients
- Assistance with transportation to medical appointment and errands, etc
- Maintain accurate documentation of client care and progress

**Qualifications**:

- Personal Support Worker Certificate or equivalent
- Valid CPR and First Aid Certificate
- Vulnerable Sector police check required
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation
- Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and up to date immunizations
- Previous experience in patient care or a related field is preferred
- Ability to speak other language is an asset

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 24 per week

Schedule:

- 4 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Holidays
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Class 5 Licence (preferred)
