**We are excited to be recruiting for a Host/Hostess at our amazing property The Wood Tavern, within the Norwood Hotel.**

Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Host/Hostess. As a Host/Hostess, you will play a vital role in creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere for our guests. This position is ideal for someone with excellent communication skills and a passion for providing exceptional guest service.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanor upon arrival
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
- Manage the waitlist and seating arrangements efficiently
- Answer phone calls and assist with reservations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
- Provide assistance to guests as needed

**Requirements**:

- Must be at least 18, and previous experience working in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent phone etiquette
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Knowledge of POS systems is a plus
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $15.30 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 32 per week
