**Cork & Flame**is seeking a welcoming and organized **Host/Hostess** to be the first point of contact in our guest experience. In this role, you’ll set the tone for every visit — greeting guests with genuine warmth, managing reservations with care, and ensuring each party is seated comfortably and promptly. Your professionalism and attention to detail will help create the smooth, inviting atmosphere our guests have come to expect.

**Responsibilities**
- Greet guests as they arrive and provide them with a warm welcome.
- Manage the seating chart and ensure efficient table turnover during peak hours.
- Answer phone calls with excellent phone etiquette, taking reservations and providing information about the restaurant.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen and waitstaff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Assist guests with any inquiries or requests to enhance their dining experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure high standards of guest services are met.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in guest services or food service is preferred, particularly in a restaurant or hotel setting.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and staff.
- Proficiency in using POS systems for managing reservations and orders is a plus.
- A passion for hospitality and helping others create memorable experiences.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
