**Job Title**: Data Warehouse Technical Lead
**Location**: Toronto/Hybrid

**Job Purpose**:
**Essential Job Functions / Main Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Understand data landscape i.e. tooling, tech stack, source systems etc. and work closely with technology teams to improve data collection, quality, reporting and analytics capabilities.
- Design, document, and implement data warehouse strategies, including building ETL, ELT, and Data Pipeline processes.
- Monitor and manage team members to increase individual and team performance.
- Responsible for data architecture, data modeling, performance, and cost optimization of the Data Warehouse solution
- Participate in data warehouse development by defining metadata and security standards.
- Monitor Database and ETL performance.
- Take the lead in creating a new Datamart based reporting layer on top of the existing data structures.

**Knowledge & Experience**:

- 8+ years of experience in data warehouse, data modeling, ETL, BI projects.
- 3+ years hands-on experience in development using ETL tools such as SSIS, Data Form, dbt, Dataflow, etc.
- 5+ years of experience with SQL and SQL Server Management Studio.
- 3+ years of experience with CI/CD.
- 3+ years of experience leading technical team of data engineers and database developers.
- Ability to work and communicate with both business and technical experts.
- College or University degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Science and/or relevant degree.
- 2+ years of Cloud hands on professional experience with GCP, AWS, or Azure.
- Familiar with infrastructure as code.
