**This is a remote position. Permanent residents and Canadian citizens located anywhere in Canada, are welcome to apply**
**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:
- Proactively contacting customers after purchase to ensure customer satisfaction and identify any new sales opportunities that can be passed to the relevant territory account manager
- Support the territory account manager in preparation for sales calls including researching customer sales history, identifying, and flagging contract renewal dates and general update on news and announcements by online research
- Develop opportunities in higher education in partnership with key vendors
- Handle transactional sales opportunities for key customers
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up
- Team with vendor partners to understand current promotions, special offers and inform customers of relevant product updates
- CRM record keeping and lead management of all customer interactions
**Skills Required**:
- Demonstrable attention to detail
- Understanding of the importance of fast and accurate responses
- Outstanding telephone skills with impressive ability to relate over the phone, good speaking voice, and able to deal with multiple levels within organizations
- 2+ years sales success, ideally proactive/inbound selling to mid and large size business and education customers
- Track record of over-achieving quota
- Excellent oral and written communication in English (French an asset)
- Explain and demonstrate features and benefits of products and services
- Stay informed about competing M&E industry brands, products and services
- High school diploma required
- Ability to use Microsoft Office and comfortable using web-based software and communication tools
- Familiarity with an ERP solution (NetSuite an asset)
