**Job Summary**

**Shift Details**:
This position requires **night shift work on a 6 & 1 rotation.**This position offers a unique opportunity to lead operations during non-standard hours with additional compensation.

**Responsibilities**
- Proficient with field survey systems and software such as GPS and Total Stations.
- Conduct accurate construction layouts and asbuilts.
- Self-motivated and **must be able to work independently**and with mínimal supervision.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and follows instructions set out by management.
- Proficient in performing field calculations and maintaining accurate notes.
- Capable of professionally representing the company to clients and the public.
- Adaptable to working in diverse geographical locations, weather conditions, and climates.
- Submits required documentation to office staff, including field notes, calculations, and other survey data.
- Performs all health and safety duties as identified in the company's safety procedures.
- **Ability to work effectively during night shifts.**

**Experience**
- Proven experience in a surveying role with a strong understanding of data collection techniques.
- Proficient using conventional survey instruments, total station, digital levels, and GPS equipment.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all aspects of work.
- Experience with CAD Drafting Software is an asset but not required.
- Strong communication skills and fluent in English (spoken and written).
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a construction surveyor.
- Hold a valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- **Must be a resident of the Lower Mainland, BC.**

Pay: $35.00-$47.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
