Dr. Douglas Reid believes in a natural approach to wellness to promote optimal health and recovery using a variety of chiropractic functional evaluations and specific techniques. This is a family-based practice that emphasizes wellness & prevention of injuries. Our clinic is located in North West Calgary, a few blocks from SAIT, and the Jubilee Auditorium.We offer free parking for office staff as well as chiropractic care. Our mission - to enhance and support the health of our patients by attending to their specific health requirements through the distinctive and unique approach that chiropractic offers. The chiropractic care addresses specific functional neuromuscular skeletal imbalances as well as postural dysfunction. Although pain management is generally a patients initial concerns, the chiropractic approach goes beyond treating the "symptom". **POSITION**: Capitol Chiropractic is seeking a part time office receptionist (approximately 10-15 hours/week) per week to work the days off of our current (lead) receptionist. This role is **ideal **for anyone looking to get out of the house and have a consistent 2-3 days per week of part-time work. **RESPONSIBILITIES**: - Appropriate scheduling of clients using the electronic management system - Greet and prepare patients as they arrive to their appointments - Submit health care claims to insurance companies (will train) - Uphold the cleanliness and organization of the clinic - Other duties as required by the doctor and or Admin lead **ASSETS**: - Chiropractic advocate - Health and wellness oriented - Post-secondary education: undergraduate degree, certificate, and/or diploma in office administration and/or relevant experience in office administration. - Proficiency with computer programs - Punctual - Strong interpersonal skills - Highly motivated **SCHEDULE OF THE CLINIC** - Monday 7:45 am - 4:30 pm - Tuesday 6:45 am - 4:30 pm - Wednesday 7:45 am - 1:00 pm - Thursday 6:45 am - 1:00 pm - Friday 8:45 am - 1:00 pm **office hours can vary up or down depending on patient schedule and office work to be completed. **Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent Part-time hours: 10-15 hrs. per week Schedule: - Day shift - Monday to Friday **Education**: - Diploma or relevant experience in office administration **Experience**: - receptionist: 2 years (preferred) - Customer service: 3 years (preferred) - computer: 2 years (required) Work Location: In person **Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent Pay: From $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 10 - 15 per week **Benefits**: - On-site parking Schedule: - Monday to Friday **Education**: - Secondary School (preferred) **Experience**: - Customer service: 3 years (required) Work Location: In person
