**Job Summary and Purpose**

Under the immediate supervision of the Production Planning Manager, the production planner will follow special processes and is responsible for tracking the various required parts that are at suppliers in the short and medium term for the landing gear assembly required for delivery to customers. Identify the various risks related to supplier deliveries that may affect production. Negotiate contracts with special process suppliers.

**Main responsibilities**
- Work closely with the Program Manager.
- Followed the short and long term production plan.
- Follow-up of production parts with subcontracting.
- Coordinate priorities to suppliers.
- Co-develop with suppliers precise timelines for critical parts and find alternative solutions when shortages are unavoidable
- Keep the information up to date in the ERP system (price, lead time etc.)
- Perform other related duties as required.

**Skills in demand**
- Educational credential in a discipline related to the responsibilities of the position.
- 2 to 3 years of experience in the manufacturing sector;
- Dynamic, organizational skills and ability to manage several files at the same time;
- Analytical and conflict resolution skills;
- Experience in the use of MRP systems (SAP, Baan, INFOR);
- Negotiation skills;
- Ability to work under pressure
- Proficient in Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Access.

**Salary: 64 500,00$ à 74 000,00$/yr**
