Pricing and Trade Spend Analyst

Reporting to the Manager, Sales Finance, the Pricing & Trade Spend Analyst will be responsible for all the administrative duties in the Finance team supporting the Sales Department, reviewing selected customer accounts, and ensuring accuracy of trade spend. The incumbent will also be responsible for month end duties and will support the budget process as required.

**Responsibilities**:Pricing**:

- Setup and maintain all customer pricing and programs in JDE in an accurate and timely manner.
- Prepare monthly credit list and process credits in JDE.
- Liaise with Customer Service regarding pricing discrepancies and resolve issues with Sales or the Customer.

**Trade Spend Management**:

- Responsible for partnering with Sales on smaller volume accounts to assist in building up operating spend forecast for specific customer accounts for budget and the two other major forecast cycles.
- Meet with Key Account Manager for smaller volume accounts monthly or quarterly to review year-to-date results, as well, as the balance-of-year forecast to understand any risks or opportunities to the most recent forecast for the month and balance-of-year.

**Reporting**:

- Complete daily and weekly reporting to the Sales Team and the Executive Team on Sales and Trade by Customer.
- Assist in month end tasks including specific customer, cost of goods and system cube reconciliations.

**Process Improvement**:

- Identify process improvements to create efficiencies in setting up promotions and accruals in JDE.
- Participate in cross-functional projects to drive continuous improvement.

**Qualifications**:

- University degree in Business Administration or Commerce
- Working towards an accounting designation (CMA, CPA or CGA)
- 1-2 years’ experience within the finance function
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Experience with JD Edwards, Trade Pro Management (TPM) & Cognos
- Moderate understanding of accounting rules
- Ability to multi-task with strong organization skills
