**Packaging Clerk**

**Job Summary**

To prepare items for delivery and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments according to set standards.

**Main Responsibilities**
- Package all product for shipping to customer or to be placed in inventory;
- Prepare and print the corresponding shipping labels;
- Process orders based on the required shipping system (e.g. USPS, UPS, FedEx, etc.);
- Print shipping documents as required and/or enter goods into inventory;
- Assemble and fill boxes and other cartons with items due for shipping;
- Contact carrier and schedule delivery for each package;
- Receive inbound goods from carriers (as required);
- Maintain a clean and safe work area and update supplies as needed.

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma/GED preferred;
- Computer literacy required: Windows operating system or equivalent;
- One year of experience in a similar position;
- Good organizational and time management skills;
- Capable of working in manufacturing environment;
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.;
- Basic English (required).

**Taches principales**

Préparer les produits finis pour la livraison et enregistrer la marchandise entrante et sortante, selon les normes établies.
- Identifier et emballez les produits pour livraison au client ou la mise en inventaire;
- Préparer et imprimer correctement les étiquettes d'expédition;
- Traiter les commandes en fonction du système d'expédition requis (par exemple, USPS, UPS, FedEx, etc.);
- Imprimez les documents de livraison ou d’entré en inventaire selon le cas;
- Assembler et remplir les boîtes et autres cartons avec les articles à expédier;
- Contacter la compagnie de transport et planifier la livraison de chaque colis;
- Faire la réception de la marchandise entrante (au besoin);
- S’assurer que les lieux de travail sont propres et sécuritaires.

**Qualifications et expérience**:

- Diplôme d'études secondaires ou équivalent;
- Connaissance informatiques pertinents tels que Word et Excel;
- Une année d'expérience dans un poste similaire;
- Bonnes capacités d'organisation et de gestion du temps ;
- Prêt à travailler dans un environnement manufacturier;
- Être capable de soulever des poids de jusqu'à 50 lb.;
- Anglais fonctionnel (nécessaire).

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $19.75-$20.00 per hour
