MUST HAVE PREVIOUS COOKING/RESTAURANT EXPERIENCE min 1 year

**Responsibilities**:

- Set up workstations.
- Cook dishes to business standards.
- Follow health and safety guidelines.
- Prepare ingredients for use during shift.
- Stock and Prep Menu Items & toppings.
- Work with the fryer.
- Work with slicer (slice cheese, tomatoes, etc).
- Wash Dishes when needed.
- Handle meat/poultry.
- Work well under pressure and within the time limit.
- Assist cook with other restaurant tasks.
- Ensuring the preparation station and the kitchen are set up and stocked.
- Preparing simple components of each dish on the menu by chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and preparing sauces.
- Reporting to the executive chef and following instructions.
- Make sure food preparation and storage areas meet health and safety standards.
- Cleaning prep areas and taking care of leftovers.
- Cooking menu items with the support of the kitchen staff

**Qualifications**:

- 1-2 years of experience cooking in a restaurant
- Proven working experience as a cook.
- Understanding of cooking methods and procedures, and knife handling skills
- Ability to perform tasks with accuracy, speed, and attention to detail
- Ability to read and follow cooking directions
- Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment
- Must be organized and self-motivated

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
