**Responsibilities**:
Set up and maintain a **clean, organized workstation**.

Prepare and cook menu items according to **restaurant quality and presentation standards**.

Ensure compliance with **health and safety regulations** to maintain food quality.

Prep fresh ingredients, including **chopping vegetables, slicing meats, and making sauces**.

Stock, organize, and maintain inventory of ingredients and toppings.

Safely and efficiently operate **kitchen equipment** such as fryers, slicers, and grills.

Assist with **dishwashing and general kitchen cleaning** as needed.

Handle and prepare **meat and poultry** following food safety guidelines.

Work **quickly and accurately under pressure** while maintaining high standards.

Support the kitchen team with **various tasks** as required.

Ensure proper food storage and maintain cleanliness in prep areas.

**Requirements**:
✔ **At least 1-2 year** of experience in a restaurant kitchen as line cook.

✔ **At least 1-2 year** of experience as a kitchen helper

✔ Strong knowledge of **cooking techniques, kitchen procedures, and knife skills**.

✔ Ability to work **efficiently with attention to detail**.

✔ Proficiency in **reading and following cooking instructions.**

✔ Excellent **organizational and time management skills**.

✔ Ability to **stay calm and perform efficiently** in a fast-paced environment.

✔ Self-motivated, reliable, and able to **work independently or as part of a team**.

✔ Live in Waterdown/Halton/Hamilton region as bus routes are unreliable in the area

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Additional pay:
