- Plan, manage, and process changes to the standard parts and reference material used in the production design process.
- **Key Responsibilities/Areas of Accountability**:

- Act as champion for a share of the SRs that are submitted to the Molds group, coordinating the change, and driving those responsible to complete their assigned actions as necessary to efficiently complete SRs.
- Maintain CAD models and drafting documentation for standard parts.
- Clearly and concisely present information, ideas, and concepts using language and images in printed form.
- Maintain documentation and structures that contain standard parts and assemblies that are used by production (Product Design Manuals/Checklists, Standard Mold Parts and other non-automation-related references).
- Work closely with SR committee, GSC, Service, Product Development, Supplier Quality Engineers, and Market Managers to determine disposition of standard parts.
- Coordinate disposition with all campuses and with Spare Part Centers.
- Work with all purchasing teams and component cells (globally) to obtain quotes for rework of standard parts.
- Distribute constructive and creative advice to those involved in the implementation of each change.
- Interface with Product Development and Service (globally) on Alpha/Beta components.
Plus the following responsibilities with the assistance of Level 6 Standard Coordinator(s)
Critically evaluate proposed changes to appropriately prioritize and filter non-value-added requests
- Evaluate the engineering and business implications on all campuses of each proposed change.
- Critically evaluate proposed Standards change Requests (SRs) to identify all tasks (and the sequence of execution) necessary to their successful execution
- Thoroughly identify all areas of the business that will be affected by a change and contribute constructive and creative advice to those involved in its implementation to ensure smooth execution/transition.
- Thoroughly identify all stakeholders of a proposed change and ensure their awareness and involvement.

**Technical/Professional Knowledge, Skills & Abilities**Excellent knowledge of Husky products, tools, standards and technology
- Utmost attention to detail and ability to maintain high levels of productivity without sacrificing accuracy.
- Excellent technical writing skills and a proven ability to represent information and concepts clearly, concisely, and logically in written form.
- Strong 3-D CAD modeling skills, Unigraphics NX is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong Microsoft office skills including advanced document formatting in Microsoft Word.
- Some understanding of machine tool processing.

**Qualifications**:
**Education **Engineering University Degree or Community College Diploma

**Related Experience **2-5 years of mechanical design including creating and checking engineering documentation preferred.
