We are seeking a Deli Associate to join our team at Green's Organic Market in Vancouver. This role is vital in delivering exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality deli products.

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and serve deli items with attention to quality and presentation.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their selections.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the deli area according to health standards.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Assist with inventory management and restocking of deli products.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation practices.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive shopping experience.
- Upsell products to enhance customer satisfaction and drive sales.
- **Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in food preparation or food service environment.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management.
- Experience with POS systems is a plus (Aloha POS or Micros POS).
- Time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.
- Culinary experience is preferred but not required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
