The Cambridge Food Bank is seeking a reliable, energetic **Shipper/Receiver** to join our team. This is a physically demanding role that involves being on your feet all day, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods in and out of our facility while also interacting with donors and program participants in a professional and welcoming manner.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Load and unload delivery trucks efficiently and safely
- Receive and sort incoming donations and shipments
- Maintain accurate inventory records and stock organization
- Use computer systems to complete data entry and inventory tracking
- Prepare outgoing shipments and assist with donation drop-offs and pick-ups when needed
- Ensure the warehouse is clean, safe, and organized
- Follow all health and safety protocols including food safety protocols
- Provide excellent customer service to donors and participants
- Support occasional evening and weekend special events

**Requirements**:

- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Able to stand and move for extended periods
- Experience with shipping, receiving, and inventory management
- Comfortable using computers and basic data entry systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver’s licence with a clear driver’s abstract
- Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends

**Assets**:

- Experience driving cargo vans or similar vehicles
- Safe Food Handling Training
- Familiarity with non-profit or community service organizations

Pay: $23.40-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
