Utilizing the metal fabrication industries latest high-tech manufacturing equipment, we offer quality, repeatability, delivery and on target pricing for our clients. **General Description**: Reporting to the General Manager, the Project Manager is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals. **Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities** - Typical duties will include but not be limited to the following:_ - Lead the planning and implementation of project - Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables - Define project tasks and resource requirements - Develop full scale project plans - Assemble and coordinate project staff - Manage project budget - Manage project resource allocation - Plan and schedule project timelines (electronic process chart) - Track project deliverables using appropriate tools (Project Binder) - Provide direction and support to project team - Quality assurance - Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders - Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions - Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs - Project evaluations and assessment of results - Implement lean activities - Health & safety **Education and Experience** - Qualification in project management or equivalent - Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management - Knowledge of project management techniques and tools - Direct work experience in project management capacity - Proven experience in people management - Proven experience in strategic planning - Proven experience in risk management - Proven experience in change management - Proficient in project management software* **Key Competencies** - Critical thinking and problem solving skills - Planning and organizing - Decision-making - Communication skills - Influencing and leading - Delegation - Teamwork - Negotiation - Conflict management - Adaptability - Stress tolerance - We thank you for your interest, however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted._ **Benefits**: - Company events - Dental care - Disability insurance - Extended health care - Life insurance - On-site parking - RRSP match - Vision care - Wellness program Schedule: - 8 hour shift - Monday to Friday COVID-19 considerations: to keep everyone safe we have implemented that everyone is to wear masks, social distancing and there is hand sanitizer is available through out the company Application question(s): - What is your current wage expectation? **Experience**: - Automation: 1 year (preferred) Work Location: In person
