**1. ACCOUNTABILITIES OF JOB FUNCTION**

To work as a team member to produce automotive and non-automotive products and ensure that all manufactured products and services meet or exceed established quality standards. Also, to contribute to a cooperative work environment where fairness, equity and non-discriminatory practices are the standard.

**Responsibilities includes but are not limited to**:

- Oversee accounting team. for day-to-day tasks.
- Oversee payroll, review biweekly report and be backup.
- Compliance with regulated or government deductions and filing HST, WSIB, etc.
- Ensure all government deductions are processed.
- Oversee company group benefits.
- Provide monthly accounts receivable close off and trial balance.
- Follow up with customers for overdue outstanding payments.
- Manage the accounting and financial operations of the plant including costing, cash management, treasury, cash flow projection, wire payments.
- Prepare monthly and year-end financial statements in a timely manner.
- Oversee payables to ensure the posting and payment of all invoices in the accounting software and reconcile.
- Print cheques and ensure designated signing authorities approve.
- Monthly closing including reconciliation, month end posting, inventory, costing, COGS, Direct Labour cost, financial statement and reporting for management.
- Preparation of year end audit working papers and liaise with external accountant and CFO for year end closing.
- Weekly Wire payment and cash management including cash flow projections.
- Review AP & AR invoices, resolve discrepancies prior posting into CMS.
- Prepare annual 3-year budget.

**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS**

Good communication skills.

Good customer service skills.

Good organizational and time management skills.

Good MS Office, CMS and Excel.

Ability to build a competent team in response to accounting/finance and cost department needs.

3-5 years experience in accounting department.

CPA/CGA Designation
