The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

- Researching different rubber compound ingredients
- Researching how those ingredients are processed together to make a rubber compound
- Contacting ingredient suppliers to collaborate on compound development
- Weighing and measuring ingredients to mix lab and production quantity batches - Developing the manufacturing process and protocols for mixing our developed rubber compounds from scratch in both lab and production level quantities
- Operating a 2 roll open mixing mill and banbury to mix rubber compound batches
- Test newly developed compounds for tensile strength, abrasion, durometer, UV resistance, rebound and other physical properties using ASTM testing standards
- Conducting A/B field tests comparing current compounds to newly developed compounds
- Completed post secondary program in Chemistry
- Min 2 years work experience in a related field.
- Strong researching and problem solving skills
- Experience using testing equipment
- Ability to work in a small team environment.

**Salary**: $18.00-$32.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Winnipeg, MB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
