Reporting into the office of the Vice President of Media Distribution R&D Product - Gateways, the Program Manager will work with within the program management structure and ATX product development teams to develop and implement detailed project schedules/plans to ensure project delivery timelines, quality objectives and budgets are met from the project approval signoff stage to product release.

**RESPONSIBLITIES**:
The following duties outline, but do not limit, the regular position requirements. These maybe revised from time to time as business conditions dictate, at the discretion of the Manager.
- Daily project monitoring and managing, i.e., tracking of tasks, milestones and risks to meet predicted project delivery.
- Prepare and distribute weekly and ad hoc project update reports, meeting minutes and summaries.
- Maintain project status updates for Executive Management and Product Managers.
- Identify and create strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning.
- Drive continuous improvement in ATX’s project management processes that will result in better visibility and more predictable R&D product development schedules.
- Manage external supplier engineering relationships via the Project Management team including technical audits, quality management, capability assessments, new process or supplier qualifications.
- Work closely with Operations group to support and ensure efficient, timely and accurate information exchange during product releases, integration to production and engineering change notices, etc.
- Support Engineering management and the Director of Operations on related projects and tasks.
- Support the R&D team’s continuous improvement initiatives and KPI monitoring for product development activities.
- Ensuring Company ISO procedures are followed during product development.
- Performs all tasks in accordance with established Safe Work Practices and Standard Operating Procedures, ISO requirements and other duties as assigned.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
The following criteria are the minimum qualifications required for this position:

- Bachelor’s degree in related Engineering field.
- Professional Project Manager (PMP) Certification is preferred.
- Minimum of six years of engineering and project management experience in electronics Hardware/Software development and/or electronics manufacturing.
- Experienced with building project schedules using tools such as Microsoft Project, etc.
- Experience working with electronics manufacturing or design service suppliers, China experience preferred.
- Excellent organizational, time management and planning skills to plan and prioritize a number of complex activities impacting other activities or projects in the organization.
- Ability to motivate and lead teams without having direct authority.
- Superior communication skills both oral and written to exchange complex and sensitive information internally and externally.
- Goal-oriented approach and the ability to work with mínimal supervision.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, to work with internal and external associates.
- Thrives in a team environment with high level of interaction with colleagues.
- Working knowledge of electromechanical design, components, and system design as it applies to the Cable/Telco industry is an asset.

**SUPERVISION**:

- This position will indirectly manage activities for other staff within project teams and activities.

**FINANCIAL**:

- This position will support financial planning, expenditures, formulating, managing and reporting on budgets and other financial metrics.

**TRAVEL**
- This position may require some travel within North America & International.
