We are looking for an internal employee that has a thirst for knowledge, loves to count and keep everything organized, and has the drive for continuous training for improvement and development. This role is an **Inventory controller role **at our Surrey, branch.

**Key Account Responsibilities and Functions**:

- Work with parts managers to ensure economic advantage realized on purchases
- Maintain adequate inventory levels to meet customer demand
- Investigate and correct discrepancies in reported quantities and locations of all inventories
- Assess inventory output on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis to identify trends in productivity
- Coordinate and manage cycle count of product inventories on a regular basis
- Coordinate and manage obsolescence and excess inventory returns
- Follow and lead others in safe work practices
- Monitor delivery schedule and customer orders
- Place and receive orders in a timely and accurate manner
- File claims when defective products are discovered
- Coordinate with customer service and logistics departments
- Check date-sensitive inventory and cores for expiration and facilitate removal or transfer of products as needed
- Perform process and system testing and track performance by area to locate and solve problems in data integrity, productivity, and efficiency
- Train other employees in inventory management
- Establish trusted relationships with suppliers to ensure quality service and cost-effective deals
- Pricing adjustment and price updates as directed by parts managers

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

- Verify that 5S Standards are adhered to
- Participate in and encourage a culture of continuous improvement
- Oversee & perform all inventory activities
- Have good analytical and math skills,
- Strong understanding of computers
