Objectives: The Health Records Administrative Assistant assists in the establishment and maintenance of the health records in accordance with HBHN policies. The Administrative Assistant is responsible for the daily management of the patient record.

Education: BA or Diploma in Business administration or related fields.

Skills: Telephone skills, customer service, attention to details

Word, Excel, Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities

Experience: Experience in an administrative role.

**Responsibilities**:

- Process incoming correspondence - read, save, and forward to appropriate parties, if needed.
- Process requests for clinical notes and records - provision of the file copy to the requesting party in a timely manner, communication with third parties, as necessary, and other clerical tasks as required.
- Database information enters and changes internal and external customer interface
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Meet defined department goals and activity metrics

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
