Chairside Dental Assistant-full

**Job Summary**
**Duties**
- Assist the dentist during various procedures, including examinations, cleanings, and treatments.
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
- Record patient medical histories and update patient records accurately.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow within the office.
- Collaborate with other dental professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Utilize dental software such as Dentrix for managing patient information efficiently.
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including answering phones and managing correspondence.
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred, but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in using dental software systems (e.g., Dentrix) is a plus.
- Familiarity with CAD, Epic, orthodontics, pediatrics, and medical terminology is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
- Certification in Dental Assisting or relevant qualifications is preferred.
