Sea to Sky Parks is currently hiring for part time, weekend only, seasonal gatehouse attendants to join our team working at Chilliwack Lake Provincial Park. Positions will commence mid
- May and run through end of August. (weekends only)

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reporting to the Park Manager, the Provincial Park Gatehouse Attendants are responsible for welcoming visitors to the park, providing information to guests, dealing with enquiries, and collecting fees.

THIS POSITION IS RIGHT FOR YOU IF:
You want to work outdoors for the summer.

You have great public relations and guest service skills.

You work well in a team and independently.

You are looking to pursue a more long-term career in Recreation, Conservation, Parks, or similar Environmental fields.

You have a passion for outdoor recreation.

You are self motivated and proactive.

You can sustain physical activity for the entirety of your 8hr shift.

WHAT WE REQUIRE FROM YOU:
A positive and friendly attitude in all weather conditions.

Cash handling experience

Able to follow direction and work unsupervised.

Able to work weekends and holidays.

Your own transportation to get to and from the park for work.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Part-time seasonal employment from May 16 to August 31.

Four-hour shifts Friday to Sunday

Hourly wage starting at: $ 19

Uniform provided.

$75 biweekly mileage incentive
