Situated in Downtown Banff, our busy Head Office coordinates and supports the activities of our hotels, restaurants, spas, cinema, and retail outlets.

We are currently seeking an energetic and dynamic individual to join our company as Systems Administrator in the Information Systems Department. This is a unique opportunity to develop a career in IT in the Canadian Rockies.
What you will do
- Collaborate with the Manager of IS on Systems Architecture (Server, Storage and Network)
- Install, manage, monitor and troubleshoot servers, software, server infrastructure, and storage including:
- VMWare
- Cisco UCS Blade Server hardware
- HP Nimble SAN
- Microsoft products: Win Server, Active Directory, GPO, MS Exchange, MS SQL, etc.
- Work alongside with Team Leads (Network Administrator, Application Services and Support Services) to collaborate on IS System requirements including:
- Backup
- Disaster recovery
- IT security and threat prevention
- Special projects
- Perform diagnosis, troubleshoot issues in conjunction with the service team
- Provide support and coverage for team members during as required
- Be a strong source of knowledge and provide training and delegate tasks to junior members of the department.
- Work effectively in a team with peers inside and outside the department
- Maintain effective relationships with vendors and lead vendor support during new implementations and while troubleshooting issues
- Provide helpdesk and on-call support when required
You have
- At least 3 years experience as a Systems Administrator
- Variety of experience with upgrades, implementations and migrations including:
- Windows Server upgrades
- MS Exchange upgrades
- SAN migration and/or upgrade
- ESXi Server upgrades
- You are passionate about living in a mountain town. The position is located onsite in Banff, AB
- The ability to work independently and manage time to support multiple high-priority objectives simultaneously
- Self-motivation and are willing to take initiative
- A desire to continually learn and upgrade skills
- Committed to maintaining good documentation and passing on knowledge
- Tenacious while troubleshooting issues
