**About This Opportunity**:
Great permanent opportunity
The Distribution Supervisor will be responsible for the efficiency of the distribution routes at mínimal cost and in a safe environment. Reporting to the Distribution Manager, the Supervisor will be part of a dynamic team of four members to coordinate the logistics of the delivery team.
**Responsibilities**:
- Responsible for ensuring efficiency in product distribution and management of delivery drivers (schedules, collective agreement, etc.).
- Hire, train and develop the skills of a team of drivers/deliverers and different delivery methods.
- Ensure proper follow-ups and training in CNESST matters in order to maintain a 'zero' accident culture;
- Ensure compliance in terms of transportation and respect of government regulations (Law 430);
- Maintain a good working relationship and ensure a positive and stimulating environment for the drivers;
- Ensure high quality standards by using appropriate technologies
- Act as a liaison between distribution, the departments involved and the customers;
- Ensure a high standard of customer service and solution oriented.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in operations management or DEC in industrial management or other relevant field of study;
- 1 to 3 years experience in the consumer goods distribution sector;
- Relevant experience in personnel management in a unionized environment is an asset;
- Valid driver's license and impeccable driving record;
- Knowledge of SAP, SAP-time and the office suite, GEOTAB is an asset
- Fluency in French (spoken and written), English intermediate level;
- Class 1 driver's license (an asset).
