The Guest Services Associate is an all-rounder for the the Front Office operations. This multi-skilled individual is able to relieve the roles of the front desk including but not limited to Guest Service Agent, Switchboard, and Night Audit as business requires.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Process all guest check-ins, check-outs, room assignments and room changes
- Secure payments: activate/reissue room keys
- Verify and adjust billing for guests
- Coordinate with Housekeeping to track room status
- Operate telephone switchboard station when required
- Run and check daily reports, contingency lists and credit card authorization reports
- Supply guest with directions and information
- Answer and process all guest calls, requests, questions and concerns; follow up to ensure each has been met/exceeded to guest’s satisfaction
- Arrange transportation for guests/visitors
- Supports the night audit team with relief shifts and other tasks as required
- Other tasks as assigned by manager

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience working in a hotel front office for one year preferred
- Experience working in hotel, a big asset
- **Flexible availability to work any shift; day, evenings, overnight-graveyard, weekends, stat holidays without compromise**:

- Must have good interpersonal skills and professional etiquette
- Good communication skills; written and spoken English required
- Outstanding team player, able to support all colleagues
- Great initiative and a demonstrated ability to manage complex situations and assume responsibility to problem solve and make effective decisions independently
- Technical skills should include experience in MS Word, Excel and other related Hotel Systems (ie. Marsha)
- Must work well under pressure and be detail oriented

Pay: $25.00-$27.00 per hour
