Position Identification:

Job Purpose:
This individual is responsible for reaching out to build new relationships with customers, nurturing existing relationships, servicing customers with product selection, pricing, promotional execution, and ultimately achieve the sales target within the territory. This individual must have excellent follow-through with the ability to carry a sale from beginning to follow up, providing outstanding customer service. This position requires in-depth knowledge of and experience with the sales process, excelling at lead generation, relationship building, negotiating skills, and closing deals.

Key Accountabilities:

- Act as primary contact for Hankook Tire America to dealer network within a geographic area as assigned
- Inform dealers of all essential Hankook programs, policies and new products
- Handle all dealer issues and concerns, maintaining excellent customer service
- Train and work with dealer personnel as required
- Obtain current market information and trends, maintaining awareness of competition
- Establish Brand awareness
- Prospect new business
- Assist all internal departments as necessary
- Monitor territory performance
- Submit all reports as required
- Attend industry shows as needed
- Any other duties/responsibilities as assigned by Management

Level of Accountabilities:

- Responsible for managing sales for a specific geographic territory
- Build relationships with decision makers at wholesalers, distributors, and dealers

Core Competencies:

- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office

- Organizational and follow-up skills

Qualifications:

- High School diploma required or more
- Minimum 5 years outside sales experience in the automotive industry
- Valid Alberta driver’s license
- Proficiency in English is a must
- Must be able to spend 80% of worktime traveling within the Alberta region
- Superior time management and organizational skills, multitasking skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks with mínimal supervision
- Team player with good problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated, confident, energetic, and creative with good initiative
- Superior customer-relation manners and strong interpersonal skills
