Territory Sales Manager Posted on January 06, 2026 Employer: Hardwood Giant Overview We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Territory Sales Manager to join our expanding sales team. In this role, you will develop and manage sales strategies within designated geographic regions to drive revenue growth and expand market share. The ideal candidate will build lasting client relationships and leverage CRM software tools to deliver technical product demonstrations. Responsibilities Develop and execute strategic sales plans tailored to specific territories to maximize market penetration. Identify and generate new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and lead generation activities. Manage existing accounts by providing exceptional customer service, upselling products, and ensuring client satisfaction. Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to prospective clients, highlighting features and benefits. Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to close deals effectively while maintaining profitability. Utilize CRM software such as Salesforce to track leads, manage customer interactions, and analyze sales data. Collaborate with marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns that support territory growth initiatives. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies relevant to the product portfolio. Lead territory management efforts by analyzing sales performance metrics and adjusting strategies accordingly. Provide ongoing training and mentorship to junior team members involved in inside sales or account management. Qualifications Proven experience as a Territory Sales Manager. Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Excel, and sales reporting. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally/regionally. Established contacts with flooring stores, builders, contractors, and real estate agents. Ability to work independently and manage field sales activities. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) New account acquisition. Monthly & quarterly sales targets. Client retention and repeat business. Market expansion and brand presence. Conversion rate of inquiries to orders. Benefits Competitive salary + performance-based commission.
