**Job purpose**
The main responsibility of this position is the attainment of Taro/Sun products sales objective vs budget within an assigned territory, while achieving maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration. Apart from meeting and exceeding sales targets, the individual will also maintain a current in-depth competitive knowledge of the product line to become a reliable source of information for Targeted Pharmacies and healthcare professionals in the assigned territory/region.
**Duties and responsibilities**
- Achieve and surpass territory sales and profitability targets vs budget
- Analyze, develop and implement a Taro/Sun Business Plan that maximizes sales for the territory and re-evaluate this plan on a quarterly basis and amend where necessary to enhance territory performance
- Keep abreast of all competitive activity within the territory and understand the trends and influences in the pharmaceutical industry and how they impact the territory
- Communicate to Taro/Sun Sales and Marketing all pertinent information concerning competitor activities, customer behaviors/attitudes, market trends, etc. on a regular basis.
- Be Taro/Sun Canada’s focal point with all customers in the territory for all issues and through the appropriate conduct and actions, enhance the company’s profile with these customers
- Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints
- Maintain fiscal responsibility managing trade spends per account to maximize profitability and ensure operations spend is to budget
- Complete all necessary administrative responsibilities in a timely manner
- Attend customer and association trade shows as required by Manager
- Develop and deliver presentations at Regional Meetings as required
- Work collaboratively within your region to share best practices
- Complete all GMP training and maintain current personal training records in accordance with company guidelines
- Comply with all industry and corporate guidelines and ethics
- Participate in Internal, Customer and Regulatory Audits when required
- Other duties as assigned
**Additional responsibility (Only applicable to customer facing roles)**
- Report any complaints/adverse events received from customers to the Pharmacovigilance department within 1 business day
**Qualifications**
- Minimum of a University degree preferably in Business.
- Minimum of 3-5 years retail sales experience in the pharmaceutical industry or competitive business to business retail sales.
- Ability to travel
- Possess a valid driver’s license in good standing
- Possesses strong sales skills and business acumen
- The ability to utilize internal support systems, perform in-depth sales analysis, and develop strategic business building plans for the territory
- Must be results-driven
- Able to work both independently and within a team environment
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
- Effective communication, listening and negotiation skills
- Adaptable to change
- Possesses time management and organizational skills
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, Outlook)
**Working conditions**
- Territory based in Montreal
- Daily travel within territory required

**Objectif du poste**
La principale responsabilité de ce poste est d’atteindre l’objectif de vente des produits Taro/Sun par rapport au budget dans un territoire assigné, toute en atteignant une rentabilité maximale des ventes, une croissance et une pénétration des comptes. En plus de répondre et de dépasser les objectifs de ventes, l’individu devra également maintenir une connaissance concurrentielle approfondie de la gamme de produit pour devenir une source fiable d’informations pour les pharmacies ciblées et les professionnels de la santé dans le territoire/région assigné(e).
**Tâches et responsabilités**
- Atteindre et dépasser les objectifs de ventes et de rentabilité du territoire par rapport au budget
- Analyser, développer et mettre en œuvre un plan d’affaire Taro/Sun qui maximise les ventes pour le territoire et réévaluer ce plan sur une base trimestrielle et le modifier si nécessaire pour améliorer la performance du territoire
- Se tenir au courant de toutes activités concurrentielles dans le territoire et comprendre les tendances et influences de l’industrie pharmaceutique et leur impact sur le territoire
- Communiquer régulièrement à Taro/Sun Vente et Marketing toutes les informations pertinentes concernant les activités des concurrents, les comportements/attitudes des clients, les tendances du marché, etc.
- Être le point focal de Taro/Sun Canada avec tous les clients du territoire pour toutes les questions et, par une conduite et des actions appropriées, améliorer le profil de l’entreprise auprès de ces clients
