**Shifts: Days (Monday - Friday)**
**Rate of Pay: $24.373 - $28.671 per hour**

Under the direct supervision of the Manager - Live in & Clinical Programs (Adult Programming or the Clinical Supervisor - Crossroads Centre, the Clerk Typist is responsible for answering and directing calls, directing clients to appropriate areas, scheduling of appointments and meetings, registering and discharging client's in data systems, and maintaining organization of files. Preparing service and statistical reports, tracking and operations that support service delivery and operations in addition to ordering supplies and collaborating with other departments and vendors, within and outside of St. Joseph's Care Group (SJCG) is required.

**Qualifications**:
**Education/Experience**:

- Diploma in office administration or related administrative program
- Previous clerical experience in a healthcare environment

**Skills/Abilities**:

- Ability to communicate effectively and concisely, both orally and in writing
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, and program staff, physicians, clients, families, and the general public
- Ability to work in a team as well as independently
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet strict deadlines
- Proficiency in data entry and with Microsoft Office Word
- Demonstrated regular attendance at work

**Assets**:

- A knowledge of Microsoft Publisher, Microsoft Excel, Meditech and EMHware is an asset

**CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT**
- Will be required to travel to various work locations and provide own transportation
- Must undergo a successful Criminal Record and Judicial Matters Check (CRJMC)
