**POSITION PROFILE**
Under the leadership of the Vice President - Operations, the Manufacturing Manager's main mandate will be to ensure the smooth operation of the manufacturing/machining department, a state-of-the-art numerical control machine park. In addition, he/she will collaborate with the management team in place to contribute to the achievement of the organization's strategic objectives.
**ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Manage the resources available to achieve the company's objectives;
- Supervise a team of 75 employees including three supervisors on two shifts (day/evening);
- Participate in the planning and monitoring of budgets and the success of the company's strategic plan;
- Manage all machining activities;
- Participate in daily production meetings;
- Collaborate with the different departments of the company for all activities and improvement projects;
- Promote and maintain a culture of health and safety in the workplace and implement health and safety initiatives to promote prevention;
- Ensure the development of the entire team according to the company's values;
- Ensure healthy work relations with the employees under his responsibility;
- Manage and ensure the follow-up of the performance management program;
- Mobilize employees to achieve performance objectives by creating a harmonious work environment;
- Evaluate manpower needs and maintain versatility within the team;
- Ensure the training and integration of new employees;
- Monitoring of the business system (procedures and processes) and operating rules, maintenance and improvement;
- Analyze the KPIs of his department and ensure the necessary corrections;
- Ensure the improvement and optimization of the performance of the manufacturing department.
**PROFILE REQUIRED**
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Mechanical Engineering or related field;
- Minimum 10 to 15 years of relevant experience;
- Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in the manufacturing environment;
- Bilingualism essential (French-English spoken and written);
- Good computer skills (Office Suite, ERP system);
- Results oriented, detail oriented and a good influencing skills;
- Ability to communicate his or her point of view with the company's management;
- Be proactive and customer service oriented;
- Be an agent of positive change;
- Good stress and priority management, ability to work with tight deadlines;
- Demonstrate leadership;
- Attention to detail with the ability to multi-task;
- Collaborative team player;
- Ability to adapt, flexibility and versatility in a changing and growing environment.
