**Summary**

We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our dynamic team in Markham, Ontario. This role involves assisting with billing and invoicing, processing and reconciling customer payments, tracking outstanding balances, and following up on past-due accounts. This role supports the overall financial health of a company by ensuring accurate record-keeping, maintaining healthy cash flow, and providing timely customer service regarding billing inquiries.

**Responsibilities**
- Generate and send accurate invoices to customers in a timely manner.
- Perform account analysis and reconciliation to ensure the accuracy of records and identify discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all financial transactions and customer data.
- Assist in preparing financial reports, such as aging reports, and support the month-end closing process.
- Respond to basic customer inquiries regarding account balances and payment status.
- Communicate with internal teams to ensure customer orders are fulfilled in a timely manner.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**
- College diploma with accounting knowledge or equivalent.
- Relevant accounts receivable experiences is an asset.
- Good math skills and a high level of attention to detail.
- Proficiency with basic computer skills and software like Microsoft Excel.
- Good communication skills for interacting with customers and internal teams.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
- Interest in learning accounting principles and procedures

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $47,000.00 per year
