Credit and Collections Analyst

**Objectives**:
The Credit & Collections Analyst will be responsible for the full account management of an assigned portfolio of customer accounts, including, risk management, collections, follow-up calls, releasing credit holds, research and analysis to resolve payment discrepancies and dispute resolution, and partner with the sales team to improve cash flow enabling the company to grow and expand.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:
Perform credit investigations and evaluation of credit risk to approve new customer accounts and assign credit lines.

Provide customer service regarding collection issues, process customer refunds, process, and review account adjustments, resolve customer discrepancies, and short payments

Must communicate and follow-up effectively with Sales Department regarding customer accounts on a timely basis

Work with peers to create efficiencies for the department and company though continual improvement of processes to promote department and company practices.

Ensures compliance with established accounting policies and procedures relate to the daily operations.

Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned as required by the Credit management team

**Required Skills & Experience**:
Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting required

French Language required

Minimum of 3 years collections experience

Strong analytical and decision-making skills and must be able to set priority and work within time constrains

Strong phone, interpersonal, verbal, and written capabilities

Strong ethics and work as an effective, collaborative team member

Energetic, detailed oriented, able to adhere deadlines on a timely manner

Microsoft Excel and Word proficiency

Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite preferred
