*Job Summary:*

*Responsibilities:*
- Provide warm greetings and professional, friendly interactions with all customers.
- Accurately operate the POS system, taking and processing orders efficiently.
- Prepare and serve a variety of food and beverages, maintaining high quality and taste standards.
- Keep the cafe clean and hygienic, following our standard operating procedures.
- Assist in inventory management and restocking supplies as necessary.
- Participate in food preparation tasks, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
- Promptly and professionally address customer inquiries and concerns.
- Execute opening and closing procedures of the cafe, ensuring a secure and orderly environment.
- Maintain an organized and efficient workspace.

*Skills and Qualifications:*
- Valid Food Handlers Certificate recognized by the City of Toronto.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Proactive customer service approach, with attention to detail and quality.
- Experience with POS systems and knowledge of food safety practices.
- Previous experience in a cafe or food and beverage setting preferred.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Legally eligible to work in Canada for over 1 year.
- Minimum 1 year of work experience; barista experience is a plus.
- College diploma required.
- English language proficiency preferred.
- Work permit (if applicable) required.
