We are looking for an HR Generalist with a passion for enhancing the lives of our team members, just as we do so for our patients. The HR Generalist is responsible for the people related operations and administrative functions within Optimum.

Optimum Wellness Centres is dedicated to providing multidisciplinary healthcare services to help create the healthiest people and communities. We accomplish this primarily through our 15+ locations in Calgary and the surrounding areas.

**Responsibilities**:

- Screen, recruit, and interview potential employees
- On-board and train new employees
- Implement company culture, values and policies
- Provide management with requested reports and documents
- Supporting and guiding employees and leadership with policy interpretation and execution
- Support leaders with compensation-related matters including job analyses and design, job evaluation and salary recommendations.
- Coordinate events focused on employee recognition
- Performs general administrative duties, including but not limited to: preparing employment related packages, writing business letters, and intercompany notifications.
- Development and editing of HR Manual
- Create and maintain HR files ensuring confidentiality, privacy, and legal requirements are met.
- Managing employee relations and ensuring accurate and timely documentatio and resolution of concerns and issues
- Perform the set up and ongoing maintenance of employee health benefits.
- Assist with other HR and administrative duties as required.

**Qualifications**:

- 5+ years previous experience as a generalist in a fully integrated human resources capacity
- Knowledge of labor and employment laws
- Ideally enrolled in the CHRP program
- Ability to build rapport with all employees
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Degree in Human Resources or a related field
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Experience working with employee health benefits providers
- Ability to use discretion when handling personal information
- Highly adaptable and able to manage multiple priorities
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and observation skills
- Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on accuracy and confidentiality
- Ability to easily switch between strategic thing and hands-on detailed HR administration
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, proactively and collaboratively, problem solve, research to find information: creative and innovative nature
- Team player with excellent oral and written communication skills
- Must live in Calgary area

**Salary**: Commensurate with experience

**Salary**: From $70,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
