OVERVIEW

Vertex offers a modern, company owned and maintained, fleet of haulers, vacuum, hydro-vac, pressure, water, steam trucks, chemical units and industrial cleaning equipment, capable of meeting all drilling, production, turnaround, plant and completion needs of our clients.

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS
- Post-secondary education from a university, college, or technical school focusing on engineering technology would be an asset
- One to three years proven proficiency in an industrial or commercial work environment in an estimation capacity
- Must display excellent technical, planning, organizational, communication and leadership skills
- Knowledge of mechanical systems is an asset
- Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and documents
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and successfully meet deadlines
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Superior computer skills with strengths in the Microsoft suite, specifically Excel
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Preparing quotation/proposal as per the information provided.
- Receive, review, coordinate and respond to RFP/RFQ/RFI.
- Communicate and coordinate with various departments throughout the RFP/RFQ/RFI process to ensure the information is provided in a timely manner in order to meet internal deadlines as well as submission deadlines.
- Submit quote/proposal to client.
- Work in conjunction with Purchaser and/or operations to source 3rd party providers.
- Maintain projects schedule
- Attend meetings as required
- Other administrative duties as required
- Results oriented with a strong customer service focus

LOCATION
- This position will be based out of our Sherwood Park, Alberta office
