OVERVIEW

Vertex offers a modern, company owned and maintained, fleet of haulers, vacuum, hydro-vac, pressure, water, steam trucks, chemical units and industrial cleaning equipment, capable of meeting all drilling, production, turnaround, plant and completion needs of our clients.

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum (5) years supervisor experience, ideally withing Industrial Cleaning and Plant Turnarounds
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills an asset
- Advanced computer skills including proficiency within Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong leadership experience
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team or independently, across multiple functional areas, and with various professional disciplines
- Superior customer service and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to manage a high volume and fast paced workload
- Must be able to make decisions calmly and efficiently in high stress environments
- Must be detail oriented and highly organized

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the working crews, sub-contractors and all other resources that are necessary in order
to complete all projects
- Ensure all paperwork is completed and reported immediately including but not limited to: Change
work orders, incident reports, all orientations are completed, as well as ensure subcontractor prequalification
- Prepare and implement required project plan with support from operations / project manager
Supporting and communicating with all departments including: Operations,
Health and Safety, Accounting, and Human Resources
- Allocate resources in the most cost-effective and efficient manner to ensure budget expectations
are met
- In collaboration with safety attendant, prepare and implement all required rescue plans including
confined space and work at heights
- Take lead role in completion of worksite inspections and incident investigations
- Review crew member qualifications and assign mentor / trainers as required
- Assign and ensure completion of required employee performance evaluations including
competency tracking and employee reviews
- Review all completed documentation including operations, inspections and safety paperwork to
confirm completeness and accuracy dail

LOCATION
- This position will be based out of Sherwood Park, AB with travel to site as needed.
