**Summary**:
Reporting to the Controller, the Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for entering and processing accounts receivables and collections. We are looking for an experienced, energetic, and proactive team member who enjoys a challenging and fast-paced work environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and send invoices
- Set up new customer accounts and ensure that all client accounts are updated and maintained
- Following up with customers regarding payment on account
- Responsible for answering internal and external inquiries for receivables
- Maintain a good standing relationship with accounts receivable customers
- Prepare monthly customer statements
- Help with collection of past due accounts
- Provide management with weekly aging reports for all outstanding receivables
- Assist with month-end close
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**:

- 3-5 years accounting experience preferably in accounts receivable role
- Training or post-secondary education in accounting is an asset
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Strong organizational skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to handle multiple tasks to meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently, following detailed procedures and tasks
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience in the construction industry would be considered an asset
- Handle sensitive and confidential information in a professional manner
