That’s why we need your expertise and passion to complete our team **The role we are offering you**: - Execute activities on simulator following standard tasks backlog. - Analyze projects requirements and customize simulator configuration. - Organizes and schedules the integration of all sub-systems. - Integration, calibration of simulator instruments and systems - Install software on simulator and perform software/hardware integration on various systems to ensure simulator functionality - Resolves integration problems and maintains required documentation up to date on customer site - Identify, document and fix hardware and software integration problems by interacting with support team in Montréal - Test, calibration of controls and motion systems - Generate Qualification Test Guide (“QTG”) results for qualification - Responsible for simulator readiness for verification and validation - Act as main point of contact for Health & Safety-related matters while on customer site. - Support activities during customer acceptance and qualification phases - Perform logístical/administrative duties as required - Shift work and international travel required - University degree or technical diploma in mechanical/electrical/aerospace/software engineering or Computer Science; or equivalent experience - 1-5 years of related experience - Experience on simulator or real aircraft is an asset. - Self-motivated, dynamic, team player with strong planning and organizational skills - Ability to adapt quickly to changes in technology - Demonstrate flexibility (working schedules, field trips location and duration, tasks) and strong project and assigned tasks ownership - Good software and hardware troubleshooting capabilities - Knowledge of any programming language an asset - Knowledge in aircraft systems, aerodynamics, flight dynamics or control theory considered an asset - Effective communication skills (spoken and written) - High level of customer focus and result-oriented. - Able to work under stressful situations and take appropriate actions, when required. - Knowledge of CAE standard hardware tools and processes related to XR simulator technology - Validate, Identify and document hardware issues electrical and mechanical designs using CAE standard hardware reports mechanisms (problem report, NCR) - Leadership to act as a test site supervisor on standard products with mínimal supervision and guidance. - Knowledge of calibration of electro-mechanical systems. - Makes technical decisions to resolve issues - Understanding of visual projector and auto-calibration systems an asset - Experience in flight simulator or aviation environment an asset. **CAE offers**: - Benefits: fully flexible for you to choose what is important - Retirement: Defined Benefits Retirement Plan & Group Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP) - Financial Perks: Employee Stock Purchase Plan & numerous corporate discounts - Personal and Family Programs: Physical Wellness Plan & Supplementary Maternity Plan - Work-Life Balance: Flextime & California Fridays all year - Fun at work: social and community events all-year round **#LI-KP2** **Position Type** Regular CAE thanks all applicants for their interest.
