**Description**

Our Client is seeking a Management Consultant with extensive experience in the Data Governance discipline. Resource will work remotely, though must be available for onsite meetings when required. Standard Hours of work are 08:15 - 16:30 Alberta time. Work must be done from within Canada, due to network and data security issues.

**Experience Required/Mandatory Skills**
- Extensive experience in the Data Governance discipline. (5+ years)
- Experience with either Information Governance or records management and information management. (5+ years)
- Experience in project management. (5+ years)
- Experience leading and providing consultation and support to clients at all levels of an organization. (5+ years)
- Experience in a Data Governance role in a large and complex organization. (3+ years)
- Experience in the development and implementation of data and spatial data governance standards, processes, and mechanisms to enable information management through its entire lifecycle. (5+ years)
- Proposed resource must have own computer equipment and be comfortable using it for completion of work required by this contract.
- Available for onsite meetings with clients and technical teams located in Edmonton as required.

- DAMA Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP)
- Data Governance and Stewardship Professional (DGSP)
- Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT)
- Information Governance Professional certification (IGP)
- Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) certification
- PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- TOGAF 9 Professional Certification
- Experience with data marts, data warehousing, BI tools, etc. (3+ years)
- Experience with relational databases and knowledge of SQL (1+ year)
- Experience with data management tools (e.g. data governance tools, BI, analytics, big data, data visualization, etc.) (5+ years)

**Location**
- Edmonton

**Work Environment**
- 8 months with 1 possible 12-month extension

**Hourly Rate**
- Negotiable
