We are looking for self-inspired Immigration Consultant to join our dynamic team in Edmonton, AB.

**Duties**
- Help clients to prepare for IRCC/CBSA interviews.
- Communicate with clients to gather information and synthesize documents.
- Preparing engagement letters for client signatures
- Collecting case-specific information and documentation from the clients
- Keeping detailed notes of the consultation findings and pathways recommended
- Reviewing and assessing documentation to determine applicants’ eligibility and identify any deficiencies.
- Keeping up to date with changes to laws regulations, manuals, policies, procedures and processes, and communicating those to clients
- Maintaining and overseeing all communication with clients, while appropriately managing client expectations - client communications need to be responded to within 24-48 hours
- Upholding ethical standards and compliance standards.
- Ability to think constructively and outside the box to provide prospective clients with all possible options for their specific situation.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Top-notch research, fact-checking, and writing abilities.
- Solution-oriented approach to fulfilling duties.

**Minimum Qualifications**
- Postsecondary education supplemented by a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (as recognized by the lmmigration & Refugee Protection Act).
- Excellent team player Meticulous with an eye for detail and accuracy
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Manage time efficiently in order to meet competing deadlines on multiple projects
- Pleasant and professional in all settings
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to work under pressure and strict deadlines
- Intermediate skills in MS Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Acrobat
- Continuous learning to enhance knowledge and skills
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems efficiently and promptly utilizing the tools and resources available
- Background in any of the below will be an asset: Marketing/sales
- Must be a registered member in good standing with CICC as well
- A paralegal with proven experience in an Immigration Law office environment

**Salary**: From $15.00 per hour
