BEL Contracting has a proven track record of successfully completing transportation and infrastructure projects for provincial, municipal, and private sector clients. Our team of skilled and experienced professionals deliver quality work while focusing on safety, efficiency, schedule, and budget.

We are currently looking for _**Civil Construction Labourers**_ to join our team for exciting Infrastructure projects in and around the Lower Mainland (**Vancouver** **Area**) of BC. There is no camp work/live out (LOA) available at this time.
- **You will be accountable for**:_
- Loading and unloading building materials and equipment as needed
- Cleaning and maintaining sites to eliminate possible hazards and keep worksites clean and orderly
- Attending and being an active participant in all mandatory safety meetings
- Following instructions and operating as a productive member of a high functioning team
- Working independently, as well as part of a team
- Being punctual and having excellent attendance
- Safety knowledge and experience in the construction industry
- Experience with basic power and construction tools
- Valid drivers license required, and your own transportation
- Certifications an asset: First Aid, Confined Space, Utility Locating, Rigging, etc.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work as part of team; Good work ethic and a willingness to learn
- Fit to work - ability to see, hear, walk, stand, and lift 50lbs for full shift
- Ability to communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing
- **Working Conditions**:_
- Frequent travel required
- Required to wear respiratory protection often (must be clean-shaven)
- Exposure to all weather conditions as work is outdoors

This is a Unionized position with **LiUNA Local 1611 Construction & Specialized Workers’ Union**. This position will earn Union wages and will have access to extended Union healthcare and benefits, a Union-sponsored pension plan, and additional training through the Training Plan.
