**Position: Baker Assistant**

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Baker Assistant to join our team This is an early morning position that requires flexibility, independence, and a passion for baking.
- Prepare baked goods such as muffins, cakes, scones, and more — all made from scratch
- Follow recipes with precision to ensure quality and consistency
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment
- Monitor inventory and assist in ordering supplies as needed
- Adhere strictly to all health and food safety standards
- Open the bakery and begin production independently during early morning shifts
- Work weekends and holidays as needed
- Label, store, and rotate ingredients and baked items properly
- Assist with packaging and presentation of baked goods
- Communicate clearly with the head baker regarding any issues or needs

**Requirements**:

- Food Safe Level 1 Certification (or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
- Previous experience in a bakery or commercial kitchen setting
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Comfortable working early morning shifts and flexible availability including weekends
- Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining consistency in product quality
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 32 per week
